About the Division
The Division of Accountancy, Computer Information Systems, and Geospatial Information Technologies offers three programs leading to the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA): the BBA in Accountancy and the BBA in Computer Information Systems.
The mission of the Division is to provide students with knowledge and confidence to enhance their quest for career opportunities world-wide in accountancy, computer information systems, and geospatial information technologies. Academic excellence is promoted and fostered in the spirit of inquiry and engaging students with tools and business systems to elevate in today’s economy. The Division of Accountancy, Computer Information Systems, and Geospatial Information Technologies offers night courses, online courses, and workshops to serve the needs of both traditional and nontraditional students.
Additionally, students can earn a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems. This concentration prepares students to acquire and demonstrate knowledge of computer systems, databases, programming, networking, and cybersecurity using hands-on skills. Upon completion, students’ skillsets will be valuable to tech-driven businesses and IT industries by providing operational and strategic IT solutions. Students can also earn a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Geospatial Analysis and Intelligence.
The three programs offered by the Division of Accountancy, Computer Information Systems, and Geospatial Information Technologies are fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). ACBSP’s global mission is to pursue a better tomorrow by advancing and recognizing excellence in business education through continuous improvement.
